This weekend Magnus Andersson was once again shown why he is called the Crazy Viking. This time he got to meet another top name in Thai boxing, namely Wanchalerm, is one that most Thai people know when he climbed high in the rankings in Bangkok’s arenas early in his career. See the whole match here!
In a match against the much more experienced Thai, the audience was invited at a high pace right from the start. At first, the Thai fighter seemed to meet more with his techniques. When the second round started, however, the match picture turned and Andersson took over more and more. Before the round was over, he managed to lower Wanchalerm with a number of well-aimed knees and elbows. This became too much for the Thai who was calculated. Thus, The Crazy Viking from Olofstorp was able to celebrate yet another victory via finish. This is the 3rd match on the rake now that he wins at KO.
The match became a bit of a comeback at MX for Andersson as he was busy competing on other galas including Top King and Lion Fight. AndErsson also holds the World Cup title in MX Muay Thai Xtreme in -70kg since 2017. Galan is one of Thailand’s most popular as they replaced the usual boxing gloves with smaller mma gloves.
Recently, he also received an offer to go for the desirable World Cup title for WBC. However, something he chose to refuse when they wanted him to fly in from Sweden and he himself would be responsible for the cost between Thailand and Sweden. Magnus lives as usual in Phuket where he trains and competes for Revolution Muay Thai. newshttps://www.revolutionphuketgym.com/news/magnus-andersson-wins-ko-against-wanchalerm-at-mx-muay-extreme/
