This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and what rights you have under Thai law.

1. Personal Data We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Contact and identity data: name, email address, phone number, WhatsApp contact details, nationality, and (where relevant for accommodation or fight events) passport or identification details;
  • Booking and payment data: training package selected, dates of stay, payment confirmation details (we do not directly store full card numbers; payments are processed via a secure third-party payment link);
  • Health data: information you voluntarily disclose to us regarding medical conditions, injuries, or fitness to train, which we collect to keep you safe during training. This is sensitive personal data under the PDPA and is collected only with your explicit consent;
  • Photographs and video: images or footage captured during classes, camps, or events, which may be used in our marketing and social media, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions;
  • Communications: messages you send us via WhatsApp, email, our website contact form, or social media;
  • Website and marketing data: information collected automatically when you visit our website (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) and email engagement data collected through our email marketing platform (Klaviyo) if you subscribe to our mailing list.

2. How We Collect Your Personal Data

We collect personal data directly from you when you: book a training camp, package, or accommodation; contact us via WhatsApp, email, or our website; complete a health declaration before training; sign up to receive marketing communications; or are photographed or filmed during a class, camp, or event at our premises.

3. Purposes and Legal Basis for Processing

Under the PDPA, we only process your personal data where we have a valid legal basis to do so. We process your data for the following purposes:

  • To provide our services (contractual necessity) — to process your booking, confirm your training package, communicate with you about your visit, and manage accommodation arrangements;
  • To protect health and safety (explicit consent, for sensitive data) — to understand any medical conditions relevant to your safe participation in training;
  • For marketing communications (consent) — to send you promotional emails or messages about our camps, offers, and news, where you have opted in. You may withdraw this consent at any time;
  • For legitimate business interests — to improve our services, maintain the security of our premises and website, and use photographs/video for marketing as described in our Terms and Conditions;
  • To comply with legal obligations — including tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements under Thai law.

4. Sharing Your Personal Data

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:

  • Service providers who help us operate our business, such as our website and e-commerce platform (Shopify) and our email marketing platform (Klaviyo);
  • Third-party accommodation providers, where necessary to arrange your stay;
  • Payment processors, to the extent necessary to process your payment securely;
  • Government authorities or regulators, where required by Thai law.

Some of these service providers may store or process data on servers located outside of Thailand. Where your personal data is transferred outside Thailand, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a level of protection consistent with the requirements of the PDPA.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, including to satisfy any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements under Thai law. Health data provided for a specific training visit is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for that purpose and is not kept indefinitely.

6. Your Rights Under the PDPA

Subject to certain exceptions and limitations under Thai law, you have the right to:

  • Request access to, and a copy of, the personal data we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
  • Request deletion or anonymisation of your personal data;
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent (such as marketing communications), without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal;
  • Object to or request restriction of certain processing of your personal data;
  • Request that your personal data be transferred to you or to another data controller, where technically feasible;
  • Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) of Thailand if you believe we have not handled your personal data in accordance with the PDPA.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 10 below.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Personal Data

Where a minor (under 18) participates in training, including our junior Muay Thai programme, we collect personal data (including any relevant health data) about that minor from, and with the consent of, their parent or legal guardian, in accordance with the PDPA's requirements for processing children's data.
